Why Propel Execs
Two seasoned operators. One aligned approach.
Propel Execs unites decades of executive, operating, investment, and board experience to help companies build, scale, and realize value with clarity and conviction.
Our Story
Different paths. Complementary perspectives. A shared standard for the work.
Our careers developed from different sides of the table.
Erin built brands, businesses and growth platforms as a founder, fractional CMO and strategic advisor. She worked alongside founders and executives to translate vision into market impact, connecting brand, product, and commercialization with the consumer in ways that drive demand and execution.
Jen led and transformed businesses as a CEO, operator and retail merchant. She built and scaled across retail, consumer, technology, merchandising, supply chain and omnichannel environments, often partnering with leaders like Erin to help translate vision into market impact.
Our paths continued to intersect.
Over time, we both became trusted advisors to founders, investors, and boards navigating growth, leadership transitions, and transactions. We became investors ourselves, served on boards, and participated in building, transforming and transacting businesses.
Eventually, we stopped asking why our paths kept crossing and started asking what we could accomplish together. We created Propel Execs because the most consequential business challenges rarely fit within one functional lane.
They require people who understand:
• Strategy and execution
• Brand and enterprise value
• Opportunity and risk
We bring different perspectives to the table, pressure test each other's thinking, and align all efforts towards that outcome that will create the greatest value.
That is what makes us Better Togetherâ„¢
• Growth and operations
• Leadership and accountability
• Today's decisions and tomorrow's outcome
Our Perspective
We sat in multiple seats.
We bring the perspective of executives, operators, founders, owners, investors, board members, strategic advisors, and transaction participants.
That experience helps us understand both the opportunities and pressures facing each stakeholder.
Our Approach
With you, not above you.
We do not advise from the sidelines or deliver recommendations and disappear.
Â
We:
• Listen deeply
• Ask the difficult questions
• Clarify the desired outcome
• Examine the full business
• Identify the priorities that matter most
• Align leaders around decisions and accountability
• Step into execution when the work requires it
• Adapt as facts and circumstances change
• Stay focused on measurable progress
Experience helps us recognize patterns that others may not see. Curiosity ensures we understand what is different about the business in front of us.
With the End in Mind
Before defining the work, we ask:
› "What are you ultimately trying to build?"
› "What outcome matters most?"
› "What will create or protect enterprise value?"
Then we build the path backward from the intended result.
› "What needs to happen now?"
› "What can wait?"
› "What must become true for that outcome to be possible?"
